Enthusiasts with an eye on all the latest new Kia vehicle information know that a new Kia large sedan is coming stateside next year. Currently available in South Korea as the Kia K7, the near-luxury auto will adopt the "Cadenza" nameplate for our market.

Of course, like we said, none of this is new. What Bald Hill Kia is really amped to share would be the fact that a partially-camouflaged 2014 Kia Cadenza has been spotted testing and we've gathered up as many details as possible. Starting with the exterior, the tester mule shows a trunklid spoiler, squinted headlights, and the popular Kia black-mesh grille. Thanks to a few interior shots, we can also tell that the Cadenza is looking quite savvy through and through.

Specifically, the dashboard sports an LCD screen while the center stack takes a slightly convex shape and touts a bit of chrome trim. As for technology, future Cadenza drivers will enjoy a snappy infotainment system fitted with a generously-sized touch screen.

For those who like to keep tabs on Kia happenings overseas, you likely know that the Cadenza model's South Korean counterpart runs off a satisfying 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Well, the same sturdy powerplant will find itself in the made-for-America Cadenza and tout a venerable 290 ponies. In addition, it looks as though the 2014 Cadenza will also feature a six-speed automatic gearbox, electric parking brake, and push-button start.

As we inch closer and closer to 2013, Bald Hill Kia encourages you to stay tuned. Our team members at 1021 Bald Hill Road, Warwick RI, 02886 love nothing more than scouring for the latest Kia model updates and will be sure to send any Cadenza information you're way.
